Blog seems to be working

I actually found time to play with this blog program and just maybe have it working so that we can pass on some of the things we are doing here in Arizona. Carol & I are walking in the morning before breakfast. Many of our friends are up and out walking each morning also. Every day more of the regular snow birds arrive from everywhere in the country, soon the park will be fiiled up and then the activity schedule will begin in full swing. Then we will have no time for anything.
We are planning to take day trips to see some of the areas sites. One is the Titian missle site where the last complete silo has been kept as a tourist location. So maybe you will be seeing more exciting pictures in the future.
A tidbit of trivia...The only seguaro cactus in the park can be seen in the picture above. It is the tall cactus in front of our RV, and it is a very young 30 yr old baby. It may take another 30 years before it starts to sprout it's first arm. L & C

Work in progress and Carol's cart

I

I put in the forms for the foundation of our new building today. Next week I'll schedule concret and Carol and I will go window and door shopping.
Carol loves her new yellow cart. It is acomplete show quality restoration. Now if I could find a "cart show", this would win Best of Show.

We just had to get one more car show in prior to leaving on our trip to AZ.

Here is Carol staying warm and looking at the sunset after a great BBQ provided by the host car club at Coos Bay OR.

Getting ready for a fall trip to Arizona. 9/2007

This is our first attempt at having a blog , so any and all help and comments are more than welcome. We will be leaving home on Friday 9/21 and will be spending a few days with our friends in Fountain Valley CA before going to Vista to attend my old boss's retirement. Then we should be in Benson AZ on Oct.1st.
Will try to post things of interest and maybe some pictures if I get this blogging figured out...LR
