Petrified Forest tomorrow

We are in a RV park 20 miles west of the painted desert and petrified forest park. The park looks bad but has everything we need. The view around here is not much but after reading what happened here 225 million years ago we understand why it is so flat. The pictures from our RV spot tells it all.

In the morning we will take the Honda and tour the Nat'l Park and take pictures. So tune in tomorrow and you may see more (and better pictures). LR

Williams AZ. Nice RV park with 90 foot pull- throughs, so parking is a snap. Cooler here and we even had about an hour of lighting and heavy rain but that blew away and it is real nice now.

Colinga Ca. Elks Lodge

Above is Colinga, below is Red Bluff

Today was a 6 hr. drive from Red Bluff and it is hot (97) here. Tomorrow we should be in Calico just outside Barstow Ca. I'll bet the heat will follow.

On the road Again

We left Grants Pass this morning and tonight we are the Red Bluff Ca. Elks lodge Rv area. Tomorrow we continue south in Ca. Leroy & Carol
